Product Overview
This is a rough and jagged bit of quartz with an area of iron oxide staining and a piece of really rough, coral like gold on it. There are a couple of tiny blebs of gold around it too. This specimen sits well on display, a great piece but the gold looks it's best under magnification.
Found in solid reef in a small scale mine on private land in Berringa. It is very rough, totally unworn gold. You can see a couple of videos of the actual reef this was mined from on our youtube channel here
Please note the size and see photos with the scale in mm, it is small but a very interesting piece.
It is approximately 20x11mm by 17mm high.
