A piece of Quartz with a remarkably bright, shiny piece of gold in it. The bit of gold is unusually bright and shiny and very yellow gold like many of the specimens from this reef. This piece stands up nicely and looks great on display.
This was dug recently from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa. There is a video of this dig here on our youtube channel, this specimen is the very one shown being found in the film.
Specimen is approximately 17x13 by 6 mm thick, it comes with a hand written label.
