Product Overview
This is a specimen of quartz, ironstone and carbonate minerals. There is some really bright and shiny pieces of gold on either end with wiry Gold embedded into soft ironstone in between, there is no doubt more gold than can be seen on the inside of this one. Some of the gold is entirely within the carbonates rather than the quartz too.. The gold is small and needs magnification to really appreciate but it is a very nice specimen, perfect for a micromount.

This specimen is approximately 29x14mm by 14mm high, see photo with the scale in mm. It comes with a hand written label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
