This is a piece of white Quartz with a bright piece of flat gold in it, the gold is in a small section of iron oxide. it's a nice specimen and looks incredible under magnification.
This is from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa
This specimen is approximately 16x8mm by 7mm high, see photo with the scale in mm. It comes with a hand written label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
