Product Overview
This is a a chip of Quartz and ironstone with really interesting gold on and in it. It is a very crystalline looking and kind of wiry gold mass on one side, with bright, solid gold showing though on the other. partly in the solid quartz and a little shows out the other side. There is a fair bit of Iron Oxide on this specimen.
There appears to be a fair bit of gold inside the quartz for it's size too by the look of it.
This was mined by hand out of a reef on private land in Berringa Victoria Australia.
This specimen has only been cleaned in water.
Specimen is 14x10mm by 5mm, see the photo with the mm scale for an idea of size. The specimen comes with a hand written label.
