This is pure bright, silver, elemental Indium. The melting point of this metal is 156 degrees c and it has a density of 7.31. It is a very soft metal, this little ingot can be easily scratched with a fingernail or cut with a knife.
You could bend this ingot in half with your fingers without much difficulty, amazing stuff to play with (wear gloves) you can cut small bits off with your fingernails and press them back together again with your fingers!
This is a bit of a rough ingot not a perfect minted one, it is so soft they are difficult to stamp and it is not keen on running smoothly into molds. Most have marks where we scrape off or chase on a little bit to bring them into the weight range.
This ingot is supplied in a small bag. Please see the photos and note the size of the sample, the the scale in some photos is in mm. The photos are stock photos, you will receive one of the same type (note some photos have a few ingots to show variations, sale is for one).
Any questions please feel free to ask. These are around 28mm by 9x6mm but size varies a little.
