These Sulphur disks where developed specifically for teaching chemistry, they can be used to test the property's of non-metallic elements etc.
These are 99% pure sulphur, element 16, cast into a 27mm wide, flat disk. The thickness varies from around 7 to just over 8mm. They are cast and the base shows crystallization and also tends to have the odd little black spot, those are from a trace of organic material burnt off during manufacturing.
Sulphur has a density of 2.07, melting point of these disks is 115.21 degrees c.
