Product Overview
This is 50 plus grams of 99.99% Silicon pieces, larger and more solid pieces than our 10g samples without any of the fine bits and dust you get with those.
This is pure bluish grey/black elemental silicon. The melting point of this semi-metal/metalloid is 1410 degrees c and it has a density of 2.336.
This product will vary a bit on the size and therefore how many pieces you get per 50 grams but they will be several solid lumps, see photos of examples of our stock. This element is very hard yet brittle.

Note that Silicon is irritating to eyes and skin, always wear gloves and goggles and take care when handling, please store safely away from kids etc. too. Some of these pieces have sharp edges or corners, Silicon can be razor sharp so take care.
