Product Overview
This is a specimen of quartz with gold though one end, a solid almost crystal like bit and small blebs and grains in and on the stone. The gold is small and needs magnification to really appreciate but it is a very nice specimen, perfect for a micromount.
This was found recently while metal detecting on private land near Berringa, Victoria Australia. We took a video of the find > See it here
This specimen is approximately 13x9mm by 8mm high, see photo with the scale in mm. It comes with a hand written label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
