Product Overview
This is a piece of Quartz with granules of really bright Gold though one end of it. The gold continues into the quartz and it gives a signal on a metal detector so there could be a solid bit in there but it will ruin the specimen trimming it more. You may get a bargin micromount specimen out of this one if you are careful and try to trim it down more.
This was dug by hand from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa, Victoria Australia. You can see the actual dig in the reef this specimen came from in some of our YouTube videos here
This specimen is approximately 13x12 mm by 9mm high, see photo with the scale in mm. It comes with a handwritten label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
