Product Overview
This is a piece of Quartz with a really bright, solid slug of Gold in it. The gold sticks up out of the quartz and looks really good, one end of it tried to be a crystal but didn't quite manage, it's got a bit of crystal form though. There is also fine gold though the quartz around the end with the main bit.
This was dug by hand from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa, Victoria Australia. You can see the actual dig in the reef this specimen came from in some of our YouTube videos here
This specimen is approximately 20x12 mm by 12mm high, see photo with the scale in mm. It comes with a handwritten label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
