Billing Metals & Manufacturing has recently launched our brand-new range of jewellery, all hand-crafted from antique glass, found in the goldfields of Victoria.

These beautiful pieces all completely unique in shape, with no two pieces the same. They make a lovely, affordable and unique gift for both women and men.

How they’re made

Master craftsman, and owner of Billing Metals, Toby, individually makes these pieces by hand.

He takes fragments of glass bottles, broken in the gold rush era, and recycles them into modern, quality pendants (and soon earrings!).

Each individual piece of glass is polished through a unique (and top-secret!) process, which brings out the natural beauty of the antique glass.

He then adds a 100% recycled 0.925 Sterling Silver loop or fitting, which is set into the glass using a special resin that permanently bonds it to the glass, making it as strong as the glass itself.

All the glass is completely smooth and rounded, so there are no sharp edges, making it completely safe and easy to wear.

Colours

The colours of these pieces of glass range from the more masculine black tones, right through to delicate hues of green, blue, aqua and light pink.

Chains

These pendants are sold alone, without chains, so you can add it to your favourite chain.

12-Month Guarantee

Toby is providing a 12 month guarantee for all of his antique glass pendants, so you can rest assured that in the unlikely event of any issues with the metal loop attachment, you can send it back and he’ll fix it, free of charge.

But believe me, the chances of them coming adrift is literally zero, as Toby’s level of perfectionism and engineering is pretty top-notch.
