Gold on quartz, Berringa Victoria Australia 25171

This is a really nice specimen of crystallised Gold in Quartz.  There are three pieces of gold side by side and they all show at least some crystal faces and are all remarkably bright and shiny.  The quartz also shows epimorphs of carbonate minerals, probably siderite.

A really nice specimen for any collector! 

This was dug by hand from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa, Victoria Australia. You can see the actual dig in the reef this specimen came from in this YouTube video.

This specimen is approximately 30x24x16 mm See photo with the scale in mm.  It comes with a handwritten label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold.
