Gold in quartz - Berringa Victoria Australia (25207)

.A nice specimen of gold in quartz, the stone is a block of white quartz with a couple of bits of really bright, solid and attractive bits of gold on it. There is also tiny grains of fine gold scattered around the end with the bigger bits.

The gold is best appreciated under magnification.

This specimen was dug by hand from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa, Victoria Australia. You can see the actual dig in the reef this specimen came from in this YouTube Video

This specimen is approximately 25x16mm by 11mm, see photo with the scale in mm.  It comes with a handwritten label.  Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
