Gold in quartz - Berringa Victoria Australia 25203

This is a chip of white reef Quartz with a patch of bright and quite crystalline gold though one end of it. The gold is very bright and although the gold is small it looks incredible under magnification. 

A great micro specimen that would look good in any collection.

This specimen was dug by hand from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa, Victoria Australia. You can see the actual dig in the reef this specimen came from in this YouTube Video

This specimen is approximately 8x7mm by 5mm, see photo with the scale in mm.  It comes with a handwritten label.  Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold in quartz.
