Bright Gold in Quartz - Berringa Victoria Australia 25183

A very bright and shiny solid 'nugget' of high purity gold embedded in piece of Quartz, the stone has ironstone down one end too.

This is an unusually bright piece of gold and this specimen displays very well the way it sits on the shelf.

This was dug by hand from a small scale mine on private land in Berringa, Victoria Australia. You can see the actual dig in the reef this specimen came from in this YouTube video.

This specimen is approximately 17x11x7 mm See photo with the scale in mm.  It comes with a handwritten label. Sold as a mineral specimen, this is very high purity natural gold.
