Indium Disk 2.5 Grams

A stamped/minted disk of 99.995% Indium metal, there can be used as a temperature dependent disk as it will melt and fail over 156C and they make a good looking element sample. 

These disks weigh between 2.49 and 2.55 grams. This is pure bright, silver, elemental Indium.  

The melting point of this metal is 156 degrees c and it has a density of 7.31. It is a very soft metal, this little disk can be scratched with a fingernail or cut with a knife.

This product consists of one minted disk of pure Indium, they have a neat side and a side with a rougher finish where it is punched out of the die, please see photos for variation. They may have a trace of oil on the surface from stamping.

This sample is supplied in a small bag. Please see the photos and note the size of the sample, the the scale in some photos is in mm. They are 11mm wide and 4mm thick.
