Cobalt Metal Cube

This is a neat cube of 99.9% pure Cobalt metal, a great element sample or teaching aid.  These cubes have a more dull oxide look to them than the polished metal surface but you are getting almost pure Co.

The melting point of this metal is 1495 degrees c and it has a density of 8.9g/Cm.

This sample consists of a 2 gram cube of 6mm by 6.2mm, these all weigh almost exactly the same, between 2 and 2.04 grams.
