Hyalite Opal-AN on Basalt, Ballarat Victoria Australia 20062

This is a nice specimen of a classic Opal-AN mushroom on basalt,  found in Alfredton, a suburb of Ballarat recently trimmed from a find in 2014, the site is no longer accessible.  This specimen shows a nice transparent, colourless Hyalite opal 'mushroom' on a point of the grey basalt.  Specimen is 14x10mm by 8mm high.
