Gold hits record price

(And this isn't an April Fools Day joke!)

Gold prices have hit an all-time high today, by exceeding $5000 AUS per ounce (and the US price too!).

This has been driven by political uncertainty around the world. There's a solid chance it will go even higher.

At over AU$160 per gram, there's never been a better time to own gold - so it looks like there will be more metal detecting on the cards for me 🙂
