Product Overview

This is a nice specimen of Opal-AN found in Sebastopol, a suburb of Ballarat from a find in 2013, the site is no longer accessible.

This specimen shows nice, typical form of transparent, colourless Hyalite opal on a chip of hard grey basalt.  The opal sits out on a little finger of stone, it displays well.

Specimen is 21mm x 19mm by 12mm, opal is just over 4mm across.
